In the long-range precision shooting space, the riflescope is only part of the equation.
The reticle inside that scope can have just as much impact on how quickly and effectively a shooter can range, hold, and engage a target.
Finding that balance between a high quality riflescope and equally impressive reticle technology can often be a challenge to shooters.
That’s why Horus Vision works with select optics manufacturers to bring proven Horus reticle technology to more shooters.
One of those partners is U.S. Optics, a company known for building rugged, feature-rich riflescopes for demanding shooting applications.
Through its partnership with Horus Vision, U.S. Optics offers several riflescope configurations with Horus reticles, including the H59™ and TREMOR3™. These reticles give shooters access to the Horus Grid and a range of built-in reticle tools without having to rely solely on dialing turrets for elevation and windage with every shot.
Built for Long-Range Shooting
U.S. Optics riflescopes are designed with durability and precision in mind. Their optics include features such as locking turrets, tool-less elevation zeroing, integrated illumination controls, and several first focal plane Horus Vision reticle options.
U.S. Optics pairs its domestically manufactured Foundation Series riflescopes, including the FDN 17X and FDN 25X, with advanced Horus Vision reticle technology, such as the proven H59™ and TREMOR3™ reticles.
Machined from rugged 6061-T6 aluminum and featuring ER3K elevation knobs, 34mm main tubes, and integrated illumination, Foundation Series optics provide the ideal mechanical foundation for the Horus Grid.
By incorporating rapid ranging tools, wind dots, and precise grid holdovers directly into the first focal plane, these scopes allow shooters to engage targets quickly and make on-the-fly corrections without ever dialing their turrets.
The H59™ Reticle
The H59™ reticle is what helped establish the Horus Grid system.
Instead of requiring a shooter to hold in empty space for elevation and wind corrections, the H59™ provides a consistent grid of aiming points. The 0.2 MRAD grid gives shooters numerous reference points for making precise holds and fast second-shot corrections.
The H59™ also incorporates patented Rapid Range Bars that can be used to estimate the range of known-size targets. Moving target holds provide additional reference points for engaging targets on-the-move.
Together, these features give the shooter more information directly inside the optic, helping reduce the need to move between the reticle, turrets, and other tools.
The TREMOR3™ Reticle
For shooters who want an even more advanced Horus reticle system, U.S. Optics also offers the TREMOR3™ reticle.
TREMOR3™ builds on the Horus Grid and adds additional tools designed for speed, wind compensation, ranging, and rapid corrections. The reticle incorporates patented Time-of-Flight Wind Dots, Rapid Range Bars, moving target holds, and a detailed MRAD grid.
The idea is simple: keep more of the shooting solution in the reticle.
Rather than relying exclusively on dialing turrets between shots, shooters can use the robust grid and built-in aiming references to hold for elevation and wind and quickly make corrections when conditions or target distance change.
That makes TREMOR3™ particularly useful for dynamic long-range shooting where speed and adaptability matter just as much as precision.
Experience Horus Reticle Technology Through U.S. Optics
Horus Vision reticles are designed to give shooters more useful information inside the scope and more options for making fast, repeatable corrections.
Through its partnership with Horus Vision, U.S. Optics brings that technology together with its own line of precision riflescopes.
Whether you're looking for the proven simplicity of the H59™ or the expanded capabilities of the TREMOR3™, the B-17 and B-25 give shooters an opportunity to combine U.S. Optics' precision optic platforms with elite Horus reticle technology.
