Used for an elk hunting trip in New Mexico. While I didn’t score a kill, I used the rangefinder every chance I had to range various openings in coverage and across canyons. I was able to range a rock face @ 1536 yards and a grassy hillside @ 842 yards so I would say it performed as well as I could expect. For the price, it’s great. I’m running a Tremor 3 in a Leupold MK5 atop a customized Remington 700 in 300 Win Mag. Thus far the solutions have been spot on out to 1000 yards at my local range.

I bought my Horus HOVR 5-20x56 optic not knowing really what I was getting. I knew I wanted the tremor 3 reticle and I'd heard good things about Horus but, $1,500.00 is still a lot of money for not actually having one in my hand to look at. I'd looked at other optics manufacturers and they all wanted upwards of $2,800 for a optic with the tremor 3. I used the mil discoumt. Two days later, there it was just as advertised. I was very pleased with the overall quality of the optic and extremely happy with the glass. I've been running it for going on 3 months and love the reticle.
